ROI+ SERVICE BULLETIN 01-30-2016 Fax Failure
PROBLEM:
PHI Fulfillment Notifications and Invoices fail to fax successfully.
DETAILS:
We have investigated the multiple reasons for fax failures related to the ROI+ Fulfillment Notification Form and Invoice. Possible reasons for fax failure include the following:
• Fax machine or line was busy
• Fax was canceled by the Requestor
• Connection was interrupted
• Fax number is not valid
• Fax machine did not answer the call
• No fax device exists on the other end of the line
• Carrier rejected the call
• Fax number is not working or is disconnected
• Fax machine is malfunctioning
• Fax number is blocked by the Requestor (mostly law firms)
• Requestor fax number was not entered correctly into ROI+
The failure of a fax transmission related to the Fulfillment Notification and Invoice prevents the Requestor from understanding that a request has been fulfilled and needs to be paid (if billable). This document focuses on resolving issues related to incorrect fax numbers.
RECOMMENDED SOLUTION:
Step 1. Go to the Dashboard to find out if you are having a problem with failed faxes.
