ROI+ SERVICE BULLETIN 02-21-2018 Bulk Requests - Container System
  PROBLEM:
ROI+ users sometimes receive Bulk Requests, which are defined as a single request from a single Requestor to provide the medical records for multiple patients. Currently, there is no specific method for fulfilling such requests.
DETAILS:
Currently, ROI+ users create a completely separate request for each patient contained in a Bulk Request (defined above). Doing so means that the user is uploading the request letter multiple times (once for each patient in the request) as well as issuing multiple invoices (one for each patient in the request). The user has no easy way to track and manage the request as a single unit; instead the request must be tracked and managed patient by patient. Handling support calls from the Requestor can also be more difficult due to not having a single point-of-reference for request/invoice look-up.
NEW SOLUTION:
Our users will now have a request management feature created specifically for logging, fulfilling, and invoicing Bulk Requests. This new tool uses the concept of a single “Container.” You will create the Container, then place each patient and their records inside their single, identifying Container.
Benefits of the Bulk Request Container System:
Log requests, upload files, and manage Patients & Requestors using familiar procedures Set the per patient fee for invoicing purposes
Upload the request letter only once
Add each patient name
Auto-create a single invoice for the entire request, listing each patient on the invoice Pre-invoice if you would like to receive payment before you fulfill the request
Track the progress of the Bulk Request at the Container level rather than piece-meal, patient by patient
Answer Requestor support calls more easily by looking up the Container, which will provide all of the relevant information in one spot for you
