Mr Sakate, senior partner at Khaitan Legal
Associates, will inaugurate the centre. Sakate
divides his time between London and Mumbai
and is highly admired for his deep insight into
insurance law and regulatory matters. Sakate
is an alumnus of London Business School ("LBS")
and is also the co-founder of the India Business
Forum ("IBF") at LBS. Sakate is dually qualified
and is a member of the Bar Council of India and
is also admitted as a solicitor of the Senior
Courts of England and Wales. However, he
exclusively practices Indian law.
BIMTECH will, with coordination and support of
the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), impart
training for preparing aspiring students and
