Preface
The Insurance Times has entered into 35th glorious year of its publication in the year 2015. As we
celebrate three decades of publication of our journal it reminds us of the humble beginning the journal
had in the year 1981. During the long journey of 35 years our journal faced many ups and down but we
never failed in our mission to disseminate the knowledge of insurance in the nook and corner of the
country.
Recently Insurance Institute of India announced the revision in the syllabus of Associateship exam.
Now the questions will be on MCQ pattern.
This guide has an prepared in simple and lucid language in order to enable the candidates to understand
the subject easily. The book is divided into two parts. The first part covers important points to remember
for each chapter and the second part covers question and answers based on that chapter.
The points to remember will help the candidates to remember the important points relating to any topic
Every chapter is followed by important terminologies used in the chapter.
