Bhagavad Gita in Chinese
version
The Bhagavad Gita, a sacred ancient
Indian scripture, has made its debut in that Ambedkar lived there in 1921-22

launched at a function attended by

UK bans Ramzan fast for
school students
In UK, a primary school trust along
with four schools in London had banned
muslim students from fasting during
Ramzan on grounds that it would

imperil their health and also
highlighted that under Islamic law
children are not required to fast.
Lion Academy Trust's Barclay Primary
School in Leyton, east London, had sent
a letter to parents stating its belief
that the health of young children would
be endangered if they were deprived
of sustenance and water. The letter
dated June 10 said "Ramzan, which to
start from June 17, this year comes at
the hottest time of the year and at a
particularly busy time of the school
year with added sporting and other
events".
Alongside Barclay Primary School, the
ban was implemented across three
other schools which belong to the Lion
Academy Trust. They were Sybourn
Primary School in Waltham Forest and
Brook House Primary School in
Haringey.
Pakistan's death toll due
to heat wave crosses 700
The death toll caused by an
exceptional heat wave in Karachi has
exceeded 700, naming it one of the
