Airbus Group India appoints Ashish Saraf as Vice President
Ashish Saraf Airbus Group India has appointed Ashish Saraf as vice president, industry development, strategic
partnerships and offsets. Saraf will drive the group's existing 'Make in India' initiatives and conceive new
ones for all the businesses of Airbus Group India with the aim to increase its industrial footprint. Prior to
joining Airbus Group India, Saraf was the India head of the Tata Sikorsky joint venture since 2010 and led
Sikorsky's industrialisation and strategic partnerships in India. An industry veteran with experience in
offsets, industrial relations, greenfield start-up development and strategic partnerships, Saraf started
his career with Dassault Systems and Deloitte Consulting.
Vikrant Mudaliar appointed as Chief Marketing officer of Yatra.com
Vikrant Mudaliar has been appointed as chief marketing officer of Yatra.com. In this role, Mudaliar will Vikrant Mudaliar
be responsible for leading marketing activities across all Yatra.com business lines and group entities.
While focusing on strengthening Yatra's brand equity in the travel category, he will be responsible for
driving the marketing and communications strategy to support the company's overall strategic
objectives. The role will also have him responsible for all traffic and consumer marketing initiatives
across web and mobile platforms and driving customer-engagement and loyalty. Mudaliar previously
served as chief sales and marketing officer at Lenskart.com. He has also worked at Tata Sky as vice
president of brand marketing.
Thomas Cook appointed Dipak Deva as MD of Travel
Corporation India
Thomas Cook India has appointed Dipak Deva as managing director of Travel Corporation India (TCI). In
his new role, Deva will be responsible for overall business strategy and delivery at TCI. Deva possesses
an experience of over 26 years in the inbound travel business.

Indian-American Nandita Bakshi appointed as President, CEO of Bank
of the West
Indian-American Nandita Bakshi (57) has been appointed the President and Chief Executive Officer
(CEO) of Bank of the West, a subsidiary unit of French banking giant BNP Paribas. She will succeed
Michael Shepherd who has been appointed as chairman of the BNP Paribas USA, a new holding company
for all BNP Paribas subsidiaries in the United States. She has rich experience in banking sector and had
previously held several leadership roles at different top Banks in US. She also had held several executive
positions at Washington Mutual in Seattle (Wash), FleetBoston (now Bank of America), First Data Corp, Nandita Bakshi
Home Savings of America and Banc One Corp. Nandita Bakshi had earned a bachelor's degree in History at the University
of Calcutta and masters in International Relations and Affairs at Jadavpur University. Currently she also serves on the board
of the Consumer Bankers Association. She is recipient of a New England News 'Woman of the Year' award in 2002.
