On a personal note my work as director of the “Pro Bono Advice Committee” continues to
prove rewarding.
As a reminder, advisers who work as part of the Pro Bono Financial Advice Network, work
with people who have Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to provide support and advice to improve their
understanding of financial issues to give them peace of mind on matters relating to their
financial future.
Sadly, diagnosis of MS or another progressive neurological disease (PND), or a sudden
worsening of symptoms can be an extremely stressful from both an emotional and a financial
perspective, amplifying the relevance and importance of advice at this time.
In addition, I continue to work alongside Wayside Chapel assisting its visitors with a wide array
financial matters, ranging from one off advice to more complex financial plans.
