CRE & TECH: ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL

Evolving rapidly, technology is disrupting systems,
processes, and entire businesses that have been in place for
years. The real estate industry is no exception. At the CREW
DC luncheon on CRE & Tech, industry leaders explored
technologies from to design to operations, planning to case
studies, and everything in between.
The panelists made it clear that technology is much more
than just new apps and hot trends. Brand cohesion,

technology implementation. Panelists challenged the
audience to move beyond using technology to increase
building energy efficiencies and by gearing the focus toward $300 on people. “People” are the largest part of the budget,
end-user productivity and comfortability. Darlene Pope of therefore focusing on increasing end-user efficiency will
JLL shared their “3, 30, 300” rule for office improvements – improve a company’s bottom line far more than building
advising clients to spend $3/SF on utilities, $30 for rent and energy savings would on their own. JLL is a proponent of
