MANUAL TRANSMISSION & DIFFERENTIALS
1. Drain Transmission Oil.
2. Drain Differential Oil on each truck Differential (if equipped with two differentials) and trailer.
3. Refill Transmission with proper gear oil, less two (2) quarts.
4. Refill each differential with proper gear oil, less two (2) quarts.
5. Add two (2) quarts of Transmission & Gearbox Supplement, Part No. 12123-32oz. to the Transmis-
sion.
6. Add two (2) quarts of Transmission & Gearbox Supplement, Part No. 12123-32oz. To each of the
differentials including the trailer.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
1. Drain Transmission Fluid.
2. Change Transmission Filter.
3. Replace Oil Filter.
4. Refill transmission with proper Transmission Fluid, less two (2) quarts. If transmission uses Auto-
matic Transmission Fluid.
5. Start truck and shift transmission through the gears.
6. Shut truck– off, check fluid level.
7. Add two (2) quarts of Automatic Transmission Fluid Supplement, Part No. 14000-32oz.
8. If Automatic Transmission uses gear oil, follow directions in Manual Transmission above.
DIESEL ENGINE
1. Make sure engine is warmed-up to normal operating temperature.
2. Shut engine off.
3. Drain oil and remove oil filters.
4. Replace oil filter.
5. Replace oil, except one (1) gallon.
6. Start engine and let it idle for a few minutes to warm-up new oil and circulate through the oil filters.
7. Shut engine off.
8. Add one (1) gallon of Diesel Engine Conditioner-12122-1g.
9. Restart engine and either let it sit and idle or drive it for 15 to 30 minutes, or restart second test.
Repeat the Fuel Mileage Test for the same period of time 3-to-4 weeks. Try to run the same route as
before. Don’t run one test going down-hill all the time and the next test going up-hill all the time. If the
trucks can run the same route for both tests, the customer will have a true fuel mileage test.
The driver will see an increase in performance; quitter engine, more horsepower, more torque, the en-
gine, transmission and differentials running cooler, and better fuel mileage.
They only have to retreat the engine every 20,000 to 24,000 miles with the DEC-12122-1g.
They would one retreat the transmission and differentials as recommended by the owners manual.
They would retreat the diesel fuel tanks every time or every other time they are filled.
If the trucks are high mileage and are using oil, when they are one (1) gallon low on oil, we suggest you
add one (1) gallon of Hi-Performance Engine Oil Stabilizer Plus, Part No, 12128-1g to the engine oil.
They should see better oil pressure, lower oil consumption.
After the above test is completed, we suggest they treat the Cooling System.
