FRENCH RED BOMBS THE CHAMBER OF DEPUTIES
French Anarchist Auguste Vaillant throws a home-made bomb device from the
public gallery of the French Chamber of deputies. The explosion injures 20
French deputies but fails to kill anyone.
Vaillant is sentenced to death and executed in February 1894. His last words
were "Death to the Bourgeoisie! Long live Anarchy!"
