VAREP - Broward Chapter is proud to introduce Nekelda Douhet de Weiss (Neke) as
our new Membership Director. Please help us welcome Neke to our group, we look
forward to doing great things together.
A bit of about Neke follows: There was a time, not quite 28 years ago, when the vision,
objectives and direction of this brave Hispanic woman were decided. She thought that if
she wanted to achieve excellence in big things, she had to develop the habit in little
matters.
Besides revealing optimism, and a strong faith, coming just with her children and a heart
full of hope and dreams, she provided in all her actions, the intensity and attention to
detail, that not only drove her personally, but propelled the actions of others around her. The ability to confront problems, and
develop the needed workable solutions is an unusual talent, and she definitely has it.
From her younger days, she focused not only on educating and supporting herself and her children, but also on inspiring them
to achieve professional excellence. She felt she could not inspire excellence in others, unless she sought it in herself.
It is not easy to forget all the little details, personal challenges, difficult times, debates, and even arguments, that went into
crafting her success, but the same importance of mastering details, that has driven her toward excellence during her entire
life, it is the same that continues to inspire her actions today.
