NFR Qualifier and Lance Graves Pro Classic Futurity Champion Mulberry Canyon Moon (Marthas Six Moons-De Streaker, Osage Streaker) passed away in November 2019. Mulberry Canyon Moon established herself as both a standout performer and lead- ing producer. With $350,000 in earnings, she won three rounds at the NFR and qualified to The American. After her successful career in the arena, Mulberry Canyon Moon went on to become a leading producer of barrel futurity earners of over $400,000, including Champion MCM Imasharpguy, who finished second as
the AQHA/WPRA Barrel Racing Horse of the Year. Mulberry Canyon Moon was owned by Matt and Bendi Dunn at the time of her pass- ing. “We never took her for granted,” Bendi said. “We always made sure she had the best life because that’s what she gave us. Mulberry is the definition of mare power. She won big, produced big and her legacy will be even big- ger. She changed our lives more than anyone can possibly understand. Her legacy will live on, we will make sure of it. I will love you forever, sweet girl. There will never be another Mulberry Canyon Moon.”

The photo on page 131 shows Trade Lady Eight (Pyromaniac-Trade Lady Te, Mighty Te) winning the 1995 Clovis Classic Barrel Futurity under Liana DeWeese. As a two year old, the 1991 filly made four starts on the racetrack, racing exclusively in New Mexico. After her career on the track, she went on to the barrel arena, winning the aforementioned futurity and finish- ing fifth in the 1995 California Finest Futurity.
Trade Lady Eight is sired by Pyromaniac, winner of $358,372 and 11 races, including five stakes events. The 1983 stallion was also second in the 1986 All American Derby-G1. Pyroma- niac is the sire of multiple barrel race winners as well as flat track winners, such as Flash Over, who won eight stakes races and set a New Track Record.
As a broodmare, Trade Lady Eight produced multiple winners, including top earner Delli- cious, who won nine barrel races including the Magic Valley Futurity 2D. The mare also pro- duced Too Te Twist, winner of two Go For Broke 4D Jackpots.
