in lifetime earnings. He won his first five races: his Sam Houston Futurity trial (with
a new and still-standing track record) and the G2 final, his trial and the final for the Ruidoso Futurity-G1 and his trial for the Rainbow Futurity-G1, running second in the final by a neck. He also won his trial for the
All American Futurity-G1, his trial and the final for the Rainbow Derby-G1 and his All American Derby-G1 trial.
He finished his freshman year sixth by Wins and fifth by Earnings, and his sophomore year 13th by Earnings, and was named 2014 AQHA Champion Two Year Old and Champion Two- Year-Old Colt. Still owned by the Mazes and the Grahams, he opened the doors of stallion ownership to Conda and Judy and is currently standing at the Lazy E in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
“Conda and I didn’t know Tyler until we bought out
Tyler’s partner, but we have gone on to become very good friends with him and his wife, Naia,” Judy says. “They’re some of our closest friends and we still have partnership horses with them today.”
By that time, Conda and Judy were spending a significant amount of the summers in Ruidoso, where they rented a home in 2014 and 2015. “We enjoyed our
