                  BARREL SALE RESULTS
The stage was set back in the fall of 1987 when the ‘The Legend’ Frenchmans Guy joined the Myers Ranch as a weanling. A leading all-around performance horse sire since 2001 and with progeny arena earnings now exceeding $14 million, he continues to headline their ranch operation today. Sired by the Cowan Ranch stallion Sun Frost,
his dam was a Loiseau broodmare named Frenchman Lady – a daughter of Laughing Boy AA by Lightning Bar AAA. Still an integral part of their breeding operation
in 2020 at age 33, ‘Guy’ and several of his sons continue to sire high quality, sale top- ping offspring as was evident at the Myers Performance Horse Prospect Sale held on Aug. 22 in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Their young outcross stallion, Lucky Wonder Horse, is a buckskin son of multiple World Champion First Down Dash si 105 out of the mare Rosas Cantina CC by Corona Cartel si 97 - an NFR Round Winner with over $300,000 in earnings with Lisa Lockhart and currently ranked #11 in the 2020 WPRA World Standings (unofficially as of 8/24/20).
With the Myers since their first produc- tion sale in 2000, Auctioneer Lynn Weishaar
and Announcer John E. Johnson rolled at
a fast pace through the 59 cataloged horses offered in 2020. Phone bidding was strong along with a large crowd from across the nation in attendance at Seven Down Arenas east of Spearfish.
