Kim, Andrew & Lani Lowery had the final bid of $79,000 on the second high-seller Queen of Smooth - a full sister to Smooth N Famous, the winner of over $250,000. Kim Lowery added, “Queen Of Smooth will call Madison, North Carolina, and Lowery Farms home and will be in training with Jesse Hopper of Mayodan, North Carolina. We are excited about her future and think she is an excel- lent addition to our program.”
Lowery Farms was the volume buyer in 2020 as they also had the bid of $33,000 on Shez My Pick Guyz, a 2015 Palomino Mare sired by Frenchmans Guy out of Tag Along Nickie by Dr Nick Bar and Shez Special, a 2017 sorrel mare by Ima Special Kindaguy
out of Patience N Speed by World Speed si 83. She left the ring at $28,000.
A sale sponsor this year was Classic Equine represented at the sale by Trisha Price. They presented a saddle pad and horse sheet to
Hez Famous Guyz (Platts Family, Scottsdale, Arizona) for the high-selling gelding and to Queen Of Smooth (Lowery Farms, Madison, North Carolina) for the high-selling mare.
Bill and Deb Myers concluded by saying, “We are honored by the trust and confidence you have in our program. Our horses are a passion for us and have been all of our lives. It is our favorite day of the year and we are grateful you all shared it with us.” They are joined in their operation by their sons Chad, Billy, Brandon and Brady.
