dam of Nasrullah was Mumtaz Begum by Blenheim II and out of Mumtaz Mahal by The Tetrarch. Mumtaz Mahal was known
as the “Flying Filly” because of her blazing speed. She was the Champion Two Year
Old in 1923 and the Champion Sprinter
in England. Lady Josephine, the dam of Mumtaz Mahal, was another noted sprinter having won the Coventry Stakes at 6 furlongs. This is also a race that The Tetrarch won the year before Lady Josephine won the race. Then we can add that Nasrullah won the race along with Tudor Minstrel, another grandson of Lady Josephine. Chicaro was the sire of Flying Bob, the famous Cajun-Bred runner and sire of horses like 1945 AQHA World Champion Queenie. Fighting Fox was a multiple stakes winner, including the Carter Handicap-G1 at 7-furlongs and the Grand Union Hotel Stakes at 6-furlongs.
