Upcoming Paint & Appaloosa Stakes Races in Texas
The Gillespie Juvenile and Maturity
is running on July 1 at Gillespie County Fair with $25,000 added to the futurity and $20,000 added to the maturity stakes. Plus, both races feature $4,000 incentives to the top three accredited Texas-bred Paints. Nominations close June 21. Texas Hero Futurity Announces New Dates
With $50,000 added plus $15,000 to accredited Texas-bred Paint Horses, don’t miss the best Paints and Appaloosas as they battle it
out during the Texas Hero Futurity, formerly known as the Lone Star Futurity. Trials are
on Oct. 28, leading to the November 17 or
18 finals at Lone Star Park. The first $250 nomination payment is due Aug. 15. Late nominations are $200 plus payments to date or $2,500 at the time of entry.
Was Your Paint Foaled in Texas?
Don’t forget to enroll your Texas-foaled horse before starting in a race offering accredited Texas-bred owner awards. Accredited Paints finishing first, second or third in any Texas races are eligible for cash awards but must be enrolled prior to racing.
