 Lethal Avenger’s winning connections include owners J & SM Inc. and Don & M. Lane Reynolds, trainer Fred Danley and jockey Noe Garcia Jr.
 In winning his fourth consecutive outing, Lethal Avenger stopped the timer in :19.273
for the 400 yards and earned a speed index of 105 for trainer Fred Danley. His impressive win streak dates back to last August.
The $80,936 winner’s share of the purse increased the bay gelding’s bankroll to $255,017 and his record now stands at
9-5(2)-2-0. In addition to his pair of stakes scores, Lethal Avenger was also a finalist in the $1 million Rainbow Futurity-G1 at Ruidoso Downs last summer.
A $50,000 purchase at the 2020 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, Lethal Avenger is owned by J & SM Inc., Don Reynolds, and M. Lane Reynolds and was bred in Texas by P. K. and Kim Thomas.
Lethal Avenger is produced from the accom- plished Tres Seis mare Lethal Class. On the board in eight of 14 career starts, Lethal Class finished third in the 2016 Rainbow Futurity-G1 en route to earnings of $151,075.
West Texas Derby runner-up Throwin Sumoke (Apollitical Jess-Sumokin) was game throughout under Jose Alvarez and finished a determined second for owner
Lucky Ladies and trainer Michael Joiner. The gray gelding, a 2-time winner, was bred in Arkansas by Corner K Quarter Horses LLC. His dam was a Grade 3 stakes winner during her racing career.
Adrian Ramos rode third-place finisher Muy Peligrosito (One Fabulous Eagle- Peligrosita) for owner Super Champion Inc. and trainer Eric Valenzuela. Muy Peligrosito entered the West Texas Derby on a four-race win streak of his own that included victo- ries in the Southwest Juvenile Invitational Championship Stakes-G2 at Zia Park and the All American Juvenile at Ruidoso Downs. Muy Peligrosito was bred in Mexico by Darling Farms or Jaime Gomez. The sorrel gelding is a winner in 4-of-6 career starts.

The Dream (FDD Dynasty-Eyesa Precious), Dezignated (Mr Jess Perry-Zenergy), and KJ Brandy (Carters Cartel-Jess Wild) completed the order of finish.
