The second five fastest qualifiers from each day of the All American Futurity trials are preferred invitees to the $200,000 All American Juvenile, which will be run on September 5.
The runners faced rainy days over good to sloppy to muddy tracks and winds varying from head winds, to tail winds, to cross winds over the two days of trials.
Only one sire had more than one qualifier to the All American Juvenile - Apollitical Jess with two. There
are four homebreds on the qualifying ladder – Bobby D. Cox with the fastest qualifier Jeriko, Valeriano Racing Stables LLC with the second fastest qualifier, Mark & Annette McCloy with the fifth fastest qualifier, and Pete A. Scarmardo with the ninth fastest qualifier. Three trainers had two qualifiers – Santos Carrizales Jr. with Rock A Jess V and Eyem The Favorite, John A. Stinebaugh with Sweet Emylou and Hes A Jet One, and Trey Wood with Dena Marie and Jessa Beast. Francisco Calderon was the only jockey with multiple mounts qualifying to the All American Juvenile with three on Sweet Emylou, Long Time Partner and Hes A Jet One.
