 Inaugurator’s winning connections include owner Valeriano Racing Stables LLC, trainer Monty Arrossa and jockey Ricky Ramirez.
 Famous Phoebe, a 2002 mare owned by Chad Hart. Famous Phoebe also holds black type, winning the 2004 running of the New Mexico Spring Futurity-RG1 at Sunland Park in her home state. Inaugurator becomes the second stakes winner in the brood; the other, Roman Soldier CD, took the 2016 version of the Lovington Stakes-G2.
Willis trains the other two horses who hit the board. Jesse D (Jess Louisiana Blue-Sonny D) finished second for owner Larry Rice,
with Jimmy Brooks doing the riding. Jesse D was a finalist in this year’s Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Derby-G2, and in the 2019 Heritage Place Futurity-G1 and Dash For Cash Futuriry-G2. Jess B One (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Jess B Mighty), the third-place finisher, is owned by Homer Hill and had Justine Klaiber aboard. Jess B One won his Heritage Place Derby trial and was a finalist in last year’s Heritage Place Futurity-G1.
Rounding out the order of finish: Jess My Hocks (Kiss My Hocks-Jess Charlena) was fourth, followed by pre-race favorite Mr Dillard (Hes Relentless-Quions), A Painted Dynasty (FDD Dynasty-Third Painted Sign), Apollitical J Julia (Apollitical Jess-Julias Perfection),
Uncle Eds Idea (Dominyun-Mystical Eye) and Relentless Gun (Hes Relentless-CF Smokin Gun). Macs Lady M scratched.
