Andrew Samaniego rode This Wire Is Hot for trainer Matt Whitekiller and owners Dan and Kaye Jones. This Wire Is Hot finished second in the PSBA American Paint Classic Futurity and won his Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity trial. Daniel Torres rode Queen For Cash for trainer Carlos Ruis
and owner-breeder Gary Vaughan. Queen For Cash earlier this year won the Victoria Ennis Memorial Stakes and was unbeaten coming into the Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1.
