Trial #1 –
Race #3 - Oro Cartel (#1) was fourth out of the gate and gained ground to finish a neck in front, followed by Pevs Charley (#2) in second and Bankonitbaby (#5) in third.
Oro Cartel’s winning connections include owner Maria Carmen Solis, trainer Raul Rodriguez and jockey Gaspar Garcia.
Trial #2 –
Race #4 – JC Wagon (#8) broke on top and never relinquished the lead, crossing the wire a neck in front to score the third qualifying spot. JT Business Man (#7) held second throughout to secure the fourth qualifying spot. Olivia De Capo (#5) finished in third to sure the seventh qualifying spot.
JC Wagon’s winning connections include owner Jose Cervantes, trainer Fidencio Jimenez and jockey James Flores.
Trial #3 –
Race #5 – Chuggin Corona (#8) broke on top and was unmatched as he crossed the wire 1-length in front for the second qualifying time. RL Drifter (#7) dueled throughout with Definitely A Hero (#5) finish- ing second for the sixth qualifying time. Definitely A Hero was third to secure the tenth qualifying spot.
