 Oklahomans Dominate The Apha Claiming Futurity And Derby

Janes Addiction, owned by A. Jane Cullum of Muskogee, Okla., and trained by Dee Keener, crossed the finish in :17.445 with Rolando Raudales in the irons. The bay tobiano filly by Kool Wagon (QH) and out of Mcm Evelyn Lajolla has now earned a total of $15,999.
The APHA Claiming Derby was a close match over 350 yards, but Triple Sab OTagetook the win in :17.976. The sorrel overo
filly, owned by Jeff Adams of Durant, Okla., and trained by Dee Keener, was ridden by Gonzalo Gutierrez. Sired by CRM Livewire and out of Turbulence, Triple Sab O Tage now has $24,415 in lifetime earnings.
Wearereadynow Wins The G.C.F.A. Juvenile Stakes
Stopping the timer at :16.963, Wearereadynow beat out Cl Painted Shadows and Little
Wagon Dreams in the closely contested Grade 3, G.C.F.A. Juvenile Stakes held July 3 in Fredericksburg, Texas. The purse of $25,000, with an added $5,000 to accredited Texas-bred Paints, made for an exciting 330-yard race. Wearereadynow, a 2019 black solid gelding by Painted Turnpike and Rureadyforme, is owned by Leonard Breeden of Bowie, Texas, Trained by Randall Read with Rodolfo Fierro in the saddle. Congratulations to the owners of the top three accredited Texas-bred Paints: Wearereadynow, Cheyennenews and Secret Livewire.
G.C.F.A. Maturity Stakes Champion Title Goes To WB Stevie Nix
Later that day, with $20,000 added to the G.C.F.A. Maturity Stakes, Wb Stevie Nix net- ted just over $16,000 for owner Wag Ranches of Lubbock, Texas. Luis Vivanco rode the three-year-old gray solid mare, covering 350 yards in :17.678. By CRM Livewire and out of Zoomin Moon, she’s trained by Gary Jacobs.

First Payment Due For 2021 Texas Hero Futurity
With $50,000 added plus $15,000 to accred- ited Texas-bred Paint horses, the Texas Hero Futurity is certain to lure the fastest Paints and Appaloosas to Lone Star Park later this year. Formerly known as the Lone Star Futurity,
the trials will be held Nov. 18, with the finals on Dec. 18, at the Grand Prairie, Texas, track. The first nomination payment of $200 is due Aug. 15. Late nominations will be accepted.    Shawne Snow Makes It Rain In The 2021 PBRIP Barrel Racing Sweepstakes
With a run as smooth as ice, Shawne Snow burned through the barrel pattern on July
3 at the 2021 APHA World Championship Show’s Paint Barrel Racing Incentive Program Sweepstakes, laying claim to the
1D Championship with a time of :17.079. Piloted by owner Ava Zonneveld of Berthoud, Colorado, the 2021 sorrel tovero mare by Sm Country Snowman and out of Shawne Chick, earned a check worth $2,308.
But with nearly $40,000 up for grabs over 5Ds—including bonuses for futurity and Texas-bred horses—that wasn’t the biggest paycheck of the event, which drew 87 entries.
Check Your Bet and Jamie Wilson were second in the 1D and first in the Texas-Bred Incentive, earning a total of $3,174. Check Your Bet is a 2010 gray tobiano gelding by Dashin Is Easy (QH) and out of Cherokee Autumn, and he is owned by Jamie and Brandon Wilson of Weatherford, Texas.
One Slick Darlin, a 2016 black solid mare by Slick By Design (QH) and out of Yes Darlin, earned $3,169 in total oayouts. With jockey Ryan Reynolds, the mare clocked a :17.269 for third in the 1D, second in the
