Tres Seis became a Grade 1 winner in 2001 when he won the Golden State Futurity-G1. He was second in the All American Futurity-G1 and he added a third place in the Los Alamitos Million Futurity-G1. He won the title of Champion Two-Year-Old Colt.
He came back at three to run second in the All American Derby-G1 and second in the Rainbow Derby-G1. His race record shows his consistency placing first second or third in all 12 starts with six wins, three seconds and three thirds, earning $856,901. All five of his stakes appearances came in Grade 1 races.
