Montgomery & Trheavensilluminated Score Select Stallion Stakes Futurity
Molli Montgomery and Tracy Lambert’s Trheavensilluminated (JL Dash Ta Heaven-TR Dashing Badger, Mr Illuminator), aka Cyrus, swept the Select Stallion Stakes Futurity
held March 25-27 and the Barrel Bash in Chickasha, Oklahoma, earning $15,471. Although fresh and playful, the 4-year-old gelding won the first round in :15.464,
which also won the open race, and the second round in :15.584, which was second in that day’s open race. “You’ve got to go fast,” said Montgomery. “I told (Jolene Montgomery, her sister-in-law) it’s like clipping your reins to a bottle rocket. That’s what he feels like when you run him, yet he’s really soft when you go to pull on him.” The gelding previously won the inaugural Lone Star Shootout Futurity
and the first round at the Richest Dinosaur Futurity, and has plans to compete in the upcoming Ruby Buckle, Lucky Dog Futurity (with its Breeders Challenge Qualifier), Royal Crown and Old Fort Days Futurity. Lambert purchased Trheavensilluminated for $30,000 at the 2019 Copper Spring Ranch Sale.
Lazy E Official Sponsor of WCRA TCR
The World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) on April 9 announced a partnership with the Lazy E Ranch and Arena as the official presenting sponsor of the WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo (TCR), which pays a $1 million bonus to any one or collection of athletes who win first in any three WCRA TCR events.

Webb won at Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo, her second consecutive WCRA major win, putting her in contention to be a millionaire if she wins at Rodeo Corpus Christi in May, becoming the first victor of
the WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo $1 Million Bonus and the first woman in rodeo to become an overnight millionaire.
