BOMB CYCLONE

Bomb Cyclone has never lost at Los Alamitos, a record he kept perfect in the $950,050 Los Alamitos Super Derby-G1 on Nov. 6. Not
that bettors were surprised, because not only does Bomb Cyclone have a perfect record at the California track, his pedigree of sire Favorite Cartel and dam Remember Me Rose has produced several that have visited to the Los Alamitos winner’s circle.
Breaking from the 1-post under jockey Eduardo Nicasio, Bomb Cyclone didn’t break on top, but he quickly took command by the first call. Scoops Dynasty ran with him early, and then Bomb Cyclone pulled away, winning by 1 1/2-lengths in :19.301 for 400 yards, posting a 104 speed index.
“He stumbled a little bit, but the second jump, he was gone,” said jockey Eduardo Nicasio in an interview with StallioneSearch. “Scoops Dynasty broke ahead of me. First 200 yards, he was right there with me. He’s a good horse, but this horse, Bomb Cyclone, is amazing. He’s fast.”
