This project was a commission from the Houses of the
Oireachtas. The function of the object is to hold our
national flag during presentation. Designed with
longevity in mind, this piece’s understated form aims to
be just as relevant in 100 years as it today. It is made
from oak which was storm felled at Áras an Uachtaráin
and is complimented with a bespoke made brass handle.
