Moms, friends and neighbors of Timber Trail Elementary (TTE) attended a “mom’s night out” fundraiser on November 7 with locally-owned and operated Paint-A-Sign (www. paintasign.com). Paint-A-Sign provided an enjoyable evening of sign painting with a purpose and donated a portion of every purchase back to the school.
Everyone worked at their own pace designing and painting one-of-a-kind wood message signs and raised $350 for TTE. Participants each chose a unique holiday, Colorado or home- design theme when they registered online. With no right or wrong way to paint the wood signs, creativity was the theme of the evening. Blending colors, free-hand painting and
even painting outside the lines made each sign unique, its own hand-picked, hand-painted masterpiece.
With materials and instructions provided by Paint-A-Sign, participants enjoyed a fun and informative evening creating message signs.
Jaime McNitt created her unique and personalized sign featuring an old-fashioned truck and her family name.
Cindy Hanley creating her sign featuring a blue snow ake.
