CERTIFICATION PROGRAM ON DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF MEMS AND

NANO-DEVICES

Dr. Gargi Raina and Dr. B. Bindu organized a Certification program

On DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF MEMS AND NANO DEVICE

for 6 Days.

Resource persons include:

1. Mr. A. S. Varun Gaikwad, Technical Regional Manager, Nanochip

Solutions, Bangalore.
2. Mr. K. Sripadaraja, Director – MEMS Technical Services, Bangalore,

India.
3. All Nanotechnology Research Group Members, SENSE, VIT Chennai.

Program was aimed at providing the theoretical background and

hands-on experience on diverse methods and techniques for

researchers and students to solve engineering problems in

design, modelling and simulation of high-performance MEMS and

Nano-electronic devices using a variety of tools such as

Intellisuite ®TCAD Sentaurus TM and COMSOL Multiphysics ®

under one platform.Total of 26 students had participated for the

event.
