advisor to the editor of the Journal of Accountancy.
Ivan Sotomayor has also worked as consultant and advisor to
the World Bank and completed several accounting and auditing
projects in Mexico, Colombia, Egypt, Nepal and Tanzania. He
also performed PAO capacity-building and implementation of
ROSC recommendations in Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Tanzania,
Gambia, Botswana, Thailand and Philippines.
Mr. Sotomayor has been a presenter in several accounting,
auditing and international taxation conferences around the
world, including in May of 2014 in Sri Lanka regional conference
sponsored by the World Bank, IFAC, CAPA and the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
Mr. Sotomayor is also the author of several articles and publica-
tions in the topics of accounting, auditing and taxation such as:
