THE CREATION, FLOW, AND REABSORPTION OF
CEREBROSPINAL FLUID
¢The greater part of CSF is produced by the cells of the choroid plexus that are located within the trigone of the lateral ventricles.
CSF moves from the lateral ventricles into the third ventricle via the foramina of Monro.
From the third ventricle, CSF travels to the fourth ventricle through the cerebral aqueduct.
Once in the fourth ventricle, the fluid can either exit through the median aperture (Magendie) or the lateral apertures (Lushka).
