Session on PowerPoint
Presentation
By Erica B. San Diego, Human Resources and Administration
A brown bag meeting is an informal meeting that takes place in
the workplace generally around lunchtime. Brown bag meetings
are typically informal training and learning sessions offered by em-
ployers.
Likened to a brown bag meeting, at MPT South a program called
Lunch and Learn is held two or three times in a year. Last Septem-
ber 12, 2019 at Shakey’s Aseana, an echo session on application of
Power Point Presentation was conducted by MPT South employees
Leziel Bandiola (Quality, Environment, Safety and Health), Iris Pan-
gilinan (Quality, Environment, Safety and Health), and Vaneza
Soriao (Operations Management) who attended an MS Powerpoint
Workshop facilitated by Inquirer Academy.
Some of the shared learning about Power Point Presentation they
tackled included:
layout and formatting
inserting videos and music
merging shapes and hyperlink
how to do animations and transitions
screen clipping
smart chat and many more
Thirty-Five MPT South employees actively participated and joined
in the discussion. They all had a great time listening and doing the
actual power point presentation practiced sessions. Given the in-
teractive learning, participants appreciated the session since they
found it very useful and applicable on their daily task.
