Renita: Where and when were you born?
Mama: Driver, Arkansas and born April 26, 1939.
Renita: How old was you when Emma died?
Mama: I was about 6 years old, I want to say it was May of 1945.
Renita: What high school did you go to? Mama: aka Odessa: Rosenwald High School.
Renita: Did Big Mama go to school?
Mama: No I don’t think so but she was home schooled my Grandpa.
Renita: Did Big Daddy’s father have Alzheimer’s?
Mama: No but Mama’s dad did (Andrew Phillips). Renita: Where and when were you born?
Renita: How many homes did you live in while you were growing up? Mama: 3.
Renita: Can you remember what kind of cars your parent own? Mama: Yes, I remember they had a 1934 Ford and a 1949.
Renita: How did you meet your husband our Dad?
Mama: At my girlfriend’s house her name was Geneva Jones, we called her
Honey.
Renita: What was your first Job?
Mama: i was a lived in Nanny, taking care of one child. The family moved to California and they wanted me to go with them.
Renita: What was your second Job? I worked at Loyola University of Chicago make $150 a week.
