Mama: Well let me think, me, Fred, Harvey, Leroy, Betty, Sam, Booker, Junior and Charley for a short time because he was going off to the service.
Renita: Did Big Daddy teach you to drive?
Mama: No, your dad tried to teach me but your Uncle Freddie taught me how to drive. (Daddy’s brother)
Renita: Did you go to any dances when you were in school?
Mama: I went to the Prom, with a guy name Tommy. I can’t remember his last name.
Renita: Who was your first crush? Mama: Tommy Crowder
Renita: Who was your favorite teacher/ Mama: Mrs. Wilson she taught 6th grade.
Renita: What were your favorite subjects? Mama: Home Economics
Renita: What was one of your happiest moments, when you were growing up? Mama: Graduation
Renita: What were your ambitions for your self, after high school. Mama: I wanted to be a nurse but the money just wasn’t there.
