Since early ages people have different culture or ethnic identity. So, I’m from Ecuador,
my race is half-caste and my religion is catholic.

To start I have an Ecuadorian nationality. This is the first thing that defines myself. First,

I was born in Ecuador on March 07, 1997. Since this day my parents said that I have to love
                  this country.

In Addition, the places where I studied were good to learn the history of my country and
also the accent. These things were my help to recognize my nationality.

Another thing that help me to know what is my identity is my race. First my skin is brown. I
think that I’m in the middle. Second, the treat of the people depends of the race. I have a lot

of friends that think that my skin color is ugly.

Finally, I’m catholic and all what I believe depends of this religion. For example, my
parents showed me that I have to believe in God. Since, in my family there are a lot of

believes, me and my parents respect that. Also, we go to the church every Sunday. I think
that I love God because I has been learning that since I was a baby.

To conclude, what I’m is what I learned. Be an Ecuadorian, half-caste and catholic girl is
what defines myself since I was a child.

My life being an Ecuadorian, half-caste and catholic girl

Since early ages people have had different cultures or identity that defines themselves. In
my opinion, I have different reasons to define my culture that is to say, I know who I’m. So,

                  I’m from Ecuador, I’m half-caste and I’m a catholic person.

To start I have an Ecuadorian nationality. [This is the first reason that defines me. First, I

was born in Ecuador. Since this days my parents showed me that I have to love this country.
In addition, the places where I studied were a good way to learn the history of my country

and also the accent. These things were my way to recognize my nationality.]
Another thing that helped me to know what my identity is, is my half-caste race. [First of

all, my skin is brown. I know that I’m not black or white. So, I think that I’m in the middle.

Second, the treat of the people depends of the race. For instance, my friends hated my skin
color. But I know that I’m and I’m ok about that.]
