Globalization has increased emigration, which is the process of movement from one
site to another, in an almost uncontrollable way. Migration has a great impact and in today’s
world people immigrate to developed countries for two principal reasons: people want a
better quality of life or due to the problems in their birth country. (T.S)
The first reason to migrate is to have a better quality of life. [First, people migrate to
have a better job that helps them to achieve their dreams. Also, people travel to other country
to help their families, giving them some money to solve debts. Finally people can find good
places to study and be a good professional. For example, in other countries such as USA and
England there are some universities who are famous for their teachings.]
Another reason to migrate is due to the problems that people’s birth countries have. [First
of all, economic problems are the principal reason to leave the country. The culprits are the
governments that a lot of countries have. Since they are responsible for the increase in
poverty. In addition, people migrate because of the danger situation in their countries. So,
natural disasters obligate people to immigrate. Many people around the world aren’t safe in
the place where they live because there are earthquakes or hurricanes very often. Finally,
people immigrate because people want to have freedom and security but in many places there
are wars and people want to be in peace so they take refuge in other countries].
To conclude, people migrate because they aspire to have a better life or for the simple
reason that there are difficult circumstances inside their countries. If this problem continues
in that way, developed countries will be overpopulated and their governments will create
laws to decrease the number of migrants in these big countries.
