At all times the appellant will be treated with respect and without prejudice.
If a learner or employer has an appeal relating to an assessment outcome provided by AWCINSW, the appellant should:
1. complete an Assessment Appeal form available by contacting
AWCINSW on 02 9891 6188. or downloading an Assessment Appeal Form from www.nsw.awci.org.au
2. Forward the completed form to the AWCINSW CEO at PO Box 450 Parramatta 2150 NSW or by email to awci_nsw@bigpond.net.au within 7 days of issue or download.
The appeal will then be investigated and a meeting arranged with an AWCINSW representative who is not connected with the appeal and/or the appellant.
If this meeting does not successfully resolve the issues, an independent assessor will be utilised to reassess the appeal. The decision of the independent assessor will be final. The issues raised during the meeting will be documented and kept on file at AWCINSW.
Following the meeting and a decision being reached, a written statement of the appeals outcomes including the reasons for the decision will be sent to the appellant via registered post
MUTUAL RECOGNITION
AWCINSW will recognise the AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by any other RTO.
Qualification for Mutual Recognition will be identified at the enrolment process. If you consider you qualify for Mutual Recognition, you should discuss this with your trainer immediately.
AWCINSW are required to sight your valid certificates. This information will be verified by AWCINSW. If the provided Statement of Attainment or Certificate is older than the current
