Wampler’s Ancillary Points Chase
Have you ever seen such a points chase so early in the sea- son? WOW! The scores are high already. The shuffling of cooks is moving around like a poker dealer shuffling cards. If you’re not paying attention to this chase yet, you soon will be. It’s really going to heat up this year. Catherine Noble sits in first place with Christy Jones a very close sec- ond. But a determined Craig Carter is not about to let them
get too far ahead. But applying some pressure to the front runners is Daryl Walker, James Cruse and Scott Boyers, so don’t be surprised if you see their names in the top spots. The rest of the Top 10, Duane Anderson, Nikia White, George Logue and Chad Whittington, looks as if they are just getting started. There is no tortoise and the hare in this story because things are moving so fast, as they all are trying to hop to victory. But watch out for someone to sneak their way in there.
ACE Hardware Steak Points Chase
We some familiar names one the Top 10 list and some new ones who are going to make difficult for the leaders each week. Standing at the top of the heap is Marty Plute who has leaped to a sizeable lead over past champion Sandy Brown. Jason Hertz and John Pendray are like blood hounds sensing the front of the pack. Current points champ, Tim Brown is right behind them quietly making his
way to the top. Larry Alford isn’t going to allow them to get to far away, while World Food Steak Champion, Sunny Moody, has her eye on continuing the winnings. Now we have the ties. Brigitte Johnson and Lindsay McDonald are tied for 8th but only one point behind them sits Alta Hertz, Chad Barragan and Rory Martindale who are all tied for the final spot. Keep your eyes peeled for the changes next month because it is all just beginning.
