Finals are NOT SCA sanctioned but will be judged by SCA judges and will be judged according to SCA ancillary criteria. No points, no money, just the coveted ancillary championship belt! This is going to be an event you do not want to miss.
Wampler’s Ancillary Points Chase
This points chase continues to change each weekend. By the time you read this update, it is usually ready for another; this is why you need to stay close to social for the latest. As it stands at this point, it is still anyone’s contest. Catherine Noble has a sizable lead over second place Craig Carter and third place Christy Jones. However, there is a battle heating up in the middle of the pack with Rod Hadacek, Randy McKnight and Steve Noble carrying only 10 points between them. But you can’t count out current champ, Tona Pendray who is tied for seventh with Jamie Thomas. Jonathan Cobia and David Grover only one point away. This, like summer, is starting to heat up!
ACE Hardware Steak Points Chase
Ancillaries aren’t the only chase heating up. Just take a look at the steak chase. Former points champ, Sandy Brown holds a slight lead over Marty Plute as she seeks to be the first champ to repeat. Current champ, Tim Brown has his eye on being the first to not only repeat but do it back-to-back. However, Steve Noble, Jeff and Sunny Moody aren’t far behind as Sunny seeks to hang an SCA championship title next to her WFC Steak Champ title. Scott Nardi, John Pendray, Rusty Hadacek and Larry Alford are not going to make it easy for top six. Stay tuned all summer to see how this all shakes up once Fall is upon us.
