Kid's Que packet - new updates coming - check out the website!
With the help of one of our very active members, NEBS is currently revamping our Kids Q packet based on recom- mendations from a focus group for our organizers. Offer- ing a Kids Q competition in conjunction with a full BBQ competition is a great way to get the entire family involved and if it is done right, it won’t be a burden on your com- petitors. Combining the years of experience of the NEBS board, our members, and the suggestions from organizers and with the current downtime we are experiencing while we all follow stay-at-home orders, we hope our new Stan- dard Operating Procedures packet will be an excellent re- source for all our organizers to gain some insight with our Best Practices recommendations and will allow them the opportunity to expand the value of their competitions to include the entire family. Watch for it to be posted to the website soon.
