Marge Plummer was way more than just another BBQ and steak competition judge...she was THE JUDGE! Over 400 KCBS events judged, over 100 SCA events, countless World Championships, and judging with almost every sanctioning organization that the BBQ world has ever known.
Ms. Marge left her legacy by embracing everyone the same way...with a hug in- stead of a handshake. BBQ Hall of Famer Ardie Davis emailed me this on the day
she passed!
“Marge always brought a supply of Fun Meter buttons to The Jack. She admonished us to have fun. We’ll always feel sorrow that she is no longer with us physi- cally, and we’ll honor her by hav- ing fun!
Ardie ;o)
We are very thankful to Mark Noordsy for sharing her story inside the March 2020 issue of Barbecue News Magazine. Without a doubt we will be trying to do our part to keep the fun smokin’ at all of the events that Ms. Marge was a part of.
Until Next Month...Keep It Smokin'
