Helping rebuilding and habilitation of " Central Mosul Library" and " Mosul

               University Library "

               A group of prominent Iraqi Australian academics are embarking on a project to re-establish

               the library of the University of Mosul in Iraq after the terror groups of ‘Daesh’ ransacked the

               university and burned the manuscripts and expel books.

               When ISIS (Daesh),and its allies of other terrorist groups, had captured Mosul and more than
               40% of Iraq area they committed wide scale of atrocities with thousands of killed and injured

               innocents victims from all sects of society and destruction of infrastructure and

               establishments .In this tsunami of destruction and barbaric wave of illiteracy ISIS targeted the

               very basic foundation of life including symbols and traces of Iraq historical civilization ,

               cultural and scientific institutes and establishments.
               One of the most valuable institutions ISIS turned into ruins the renounced " Central Library

               of Mosul" and " Mosul University Library" with thousands of manuscripts and expel books.

               The Australian Iraqi Academic Society is appealing to your respected university / institution

               to support this project to help in the rehabilitation of “Central Library of Mosul" and " Mosul

               University Library" and help restoring high education system in Mosul city.   Assistant can be
               in the form of donating books, manuscript, protocols, links to important resources, methods

               of library management system, educational resources etc.
