Our New Zealand journey began on a snowy late January day in 2019 as we boarded the plane for Auckland via Singapore and settled into our comfortable Business Class seats. We were taking the trip of a lifetime to explore a fascinating country we had both longed to visit and were simultaneously escaping a British winter and celebrating my 70th birthday.
