Milford Sound is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to towering cliffs and peaks. The iconic Mitre Peak rises more than a kilometre straight out of the sea. Waterfalls cascade into the fiord and rainforest clings to sheer rock faces. We followed the 'Milford Wanderer' as that boat drew near one of four high cliff waterfalls.
