Sleepy Hollow Sports Complex

n The Sleepy Hollow Sports Complex was home to 20
o weekend baseball/softball tournaments along with a 2
c week long spring training event host by PFX Athletics for
college softball players in 2018. This brought over 75,000
E visitors to Leesburg and surrounding area. Reservations
nearly doubled for 2019 with 38 weekends reserved along
with welcoming PFX Athletics and their Spring Games back
to Sleepy Hollow. Visitor numbers are projected to reach
over 150,000 visitors to Leesburg and the surrounding area
due to these events. The 2019 estimated economic impact
for these rentals is over $1.25M.

Fishing Tournaments
Ski Beach
201 E. Lake Harris Drive
The City of Leesburg partners with Lake County and The
Greater Orlando Sports Commission to host many fishing
events on Ski Beach in Venetian Gardens. Past events have

Individual tournaments, Florida BASS Nation High School
Tournaments, and FLW Tournaments among other
organizations. The Chain of Lakes are a nationally renowned
body of water known for largemouth bass and crappie
fishing. These events attract up to 300 anglers from all across
the county, and even internationally. Anglers often spend
multiple nights in Leesburg hotels. Fishing events have an
estimated economic impact of $500,000 to $1.9M per event.
