Dear Sirs;
I am applying for the three-year Director-at-Large position for the Ohio Fire Chiefs’ Association.
My qualifications are as follows;
1. I have just started my thirty sixth year in the fire service with the Greentown Fire Department. I was appointed Chief of Department in January of 2001.
2. I was appointed to the City of Canton Fire Department in June of 1990. I was promoted to Captain in 2001 and I am currently working as second battalion safety officer.
3. In my sixteen years as Fire Chief I have created a leadership team that has transformed a once volunteer department to an all part-time department.
4. Our ISO rating has gone from an eight in 2001 to a three in 2016.

My platform is rather simple.
I will commit fully my most precious resource, my time, to work with the other members of the Board of Directors to advance the Ohio Fire Service through leadership, training and being active legislatively.
