ARTS DISTRICT GARAGE

The Arts District Garage project, completed for the Performing Arts
Community Improvement District, involved the new construction of a
1,700-space parking structure in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The
Garage was constructed as an underground, four-story, cast-in-place
concrete parking structure with post-tensioned concrete parking surfaces.
The garage features a green roof system, which was integrated into the
structure with post-tensioned concrete with foam, engineered landscaping,
a water capturing system for irrigation, and gray water use. The Arts District
Garage also features a Class A concrete finish with curtainwall, skylights,
storefronts, and a canopy.
