The Board of Governors’ Award is for truly outstanding and unique accomplishments. This year, we honor KOB 4 in Albuquerque with the 2020 Governors’ Award for their project Safe Start New Mexico.
This program has been a game- changer for a community hit hard by Coronavirus and the resulting sudden economic downturn.
KOB 4 assembled a “think tank” of local business, medical and
civic leaders to help strategize the best ways to protect the diverse communities in New Mexico and to jump-start the economy in a responsible way. The Safe Start New Mexico group is leading
the way with ongoing, proactive suggestions and dialogue with state and local leaders, business operators and legislators about positioning New Mexico for economic recovery in the safest possible manner. Congratulations to the team at KOB 4.
