10. ONGOING EMPLOYMENT
Once you have submitted a valid application for flexible working, the Company will contact you to arrange a meeting, which will take place as soon as possible and not later than 28 days from the date the application is submitted. Your Manager will then discuss how the pattern of working you have requested might be made to work. If your request is granted, it will mean a permanent change to the terms and conditions of your employment, unless agreed otherwise. You may choose to be accompanied by a work colleague during any meetings should you so wish.
The company will inform you of their decision in writing and you will have the right to appeal the decision should you so wish. All flexible working requests will be completed within three months of the request being made, including the conclusion of any adjustment or appeal which may become necessary.
10.8 Business Expenses
Thomas Franks will reimburse you for any reasonable, legitimate and authorised expenses, incurred wholly in the execution of your duties on behalf of Thomas Franks. In order to make such a claim, all receipts must be retained and produced with a completed Expense Claim Form, duly authorised by your line manager. Abuse of this procedure will be treated as fraud, so please seek authorisation for your right to re-claim monies before committing yourself to any expense.
10.9 Data Protection Policy
Thomas Franks complies with the legal requirements set out in the Data Protection Act 1998. As an employer, we hold personal data relating to our employer/employee relationships. This information is kept secure. The company will process and control such data principally for personnel, administrative and payroll purposes.
The term ‘processing’ may include the company obtaining, recording or holding the information or data or carrying out operations on the information or data, including organising, altering, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing,
