8 Steps to Management
1. Have a Great Attitude
• Attitude dictates action
• Enthusiasm is contagious, is yours worth catching?
2. Be On Time
• If you are not early, your late
• Give yourself time for the unexpected
3. Be Prepared
• Know where you are going (territory) and how to get there
• Plan your attack, attack your plan
• Have your supplies: pens, apps, binder, maps, etc
4. Work your Full 8 Hours
• Work however long it takes you to accomplish you goals
• You are your own boss – don’t cheat your boss
5. Work Your Territory Correctly
• Stay within your geographic boundaries
• People are your territory, talk to everyone
• Work, work, and re-work your territory
• Keep good tracking sheets
• Three loop system
6. Maintain your Attitude
• Don’t sweat the small stuff, and trust me, it’s all small stuff
• You are a fighter in the ring. A fighter has 10 seconds to get up, so do you.
• Laws of Average: the more you talk to, the more you close
7. Know Why You Are Here and Where You Are Going
• Getting new accounts is important to our clients, but using the field as a tool to learn the business is even more important
